Shafted LAN is an organisation who run LAN events in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia on a 1-2 monthly basis. We currently facilitate 400-500 hardcore gamers for our bigger events, we also hold smaller 60-100 player events from time to time. Shafted LAN is run by like minded gamers who know what you expect from a good LAN and do our best to meet and exceed your expectations.

Shafted LAN is focussed and favourable towards gaming clans and competitive gaming. The best aspect of gaming is the comradery and teamwork that can only be found in a gaming clan. Shafted LAN run regular competitions which push the boundaries of clan skill to find the best in Melbourne. If you want to play the best, you need to come to Shafted LAN.

If you are new to gaming and are not in a clan, do not be afraid to come along to Shafted events, in fact we encourage it. Joining net clans is never a good start to getting in the gaming scene because generally they are disorganised and the members are not dedicated. LANs are the best place to make friends and form new clans or join current clans based on your common interests and ability. Although, it is good to have some experience with netplay and lanning before you come to Shafted events.

Shafted LAN are affiliated with Multiplayer United (NSW), Queensland Gamers League (QLD), WonderLAN (SA), BFG LAN (TAS) and ACTGN (ACT). As affiliates we work together under the AusGamers banner to bring Australian gaming to new levels of popularity, skill and awareness to make computer gaming what it should and will be, a sport. We also work with each other to get you guys great prizes through our various sponsors.
