If your computer has problems on the day, we will be available to fix it at a rate of $2000 a minute. In other words, this is not a PC problem workshop. This is a LAN to play games. We will help you with network settings, but that is all. This may sound like bastardry... well it is! It is also your responsiblity to make sure you have all the latest patches for all the games and drivers for your hardware devices.
Before you leave the Shafted LAN’s we would greatly appreciate it if you could throw all your empty pizza boxes, cans, bottles and other rubbish in the bin before you leave. And if you are feeling really generous, help pack away tables, sweep the floor etc, this saves the Shafted LAN Team a lot of time packing up and ensures we keep happy and doing the LANs in the future, as well as making it much more likely you will be awarded a door prize. (standing around while everyone else cleans up means you _wont_ get one)
